William A. Parrette's Job Search E-mail/USENET Note -- the end!

Well, trying to be creative has failed miserably. I used many skills that I have developed over the years to try to avoid taking the traditional, employment agency or staffing firm "employment road." The "mass e-mail" (if 28 + (2 mailing lists) can be called "mass!" (-: ) I sent to a number of friends, family members, acquaintances, and their employers about my job search has failed to generate any interest or contacts the entire month of August, 2002.

Here are some links to my more formal resume and some additional information:

My "mini-cover-letter/resume" was a creative attempt to pack much of the type of information that you would see in a typical cover-letter and resume into a single, short, e-mail message. The principle idea was that a shorter e-mail was more likely to be read completely by most people. And, for those who want to see more, I provide URLs back into my Web Site for the more detailed information.

If (after reading this) you, or a friend, or your employer can use my talents and experiences, please feel free to contact me.
