Let me update you on the 'Grand Funkengruven' Tee Shirts. I originally had two companies print 48 of them up (total of 96). The one company printed the 'pointing figure' logo sideways, so 48 of them are basically worthless. The other 48 have been sold primarily at the Detroit and New York shows, since the original intent of the shirts was to have a means to identify each other. It worked really well in Detroit, hopefully it'll work equally well for the New York show. Greg Wereley is supposed to meet with David Fishoff and give him 3 of the shirts for the band. I have another 48 being printed up, but they won't be ready until May 1st, just in time for the LA show. So I should be able to ship them when I get back Monday, May 5th. Some have asked about the tee shirts. If you haven't already, you can see them at http://www.vegasnet.net/~1kfunkrr - they are made in the USA, Fruit-of-the-Loom, pre-shrunk 'Heavy Cotton' shirts. Black lettering, on white shirts. If you want the shirts please mail you checks to: Mike Butler 93 Desert Rain Ln. Henderson, NV 89014 They are $10 each. If you want them shipped add $3, I will ship them Priority Mail, so I can ship 2 or 3 at a time for one $3 charge Please include where you want them shipped and include your email address. - -=Mike=- also GFR import CD's Funkers, Anyone out there who is interested in the new remastered Japan issues of Phoenix, All the Girls... Hi Tony, According to the July 5th update on Sunny Q's WZZR page, the band plans to hit the road again in the fall. I would think that Atlanta would be included for the same reason you gave above. I'm surprised they haven't announced anything for Florida, Tennessee, or Texas. I'm certainly grateful they're coming to Little Rock, but I'm a little surprised. Little Rock is such a small market. I figured I'd have to catch them in Memphis or Dallas. As it is, all I have to do is drive across town. In Little Rock, that's about a fifteen minute drive. Don't give up on Atlanta. You never know, the fall tour may be the best yet! I was sifting thru some CDs and was surprised to find I still had Mark Farner's "Closer to home". This is a 12-track compilation of his 3 christian CDs,and I honestly thought I'd got rid of it once I tracked down the 3 individual albums. Anyway,it's no use to me,so I'll gladly pass it on to a good home. I know a lot of list members don't want to know about solo stuff, but in case there IS someone out there who is mildly curious and wants to hear.....here's your chance. Musically it pales against G.F. and lyrically, well, let's just say I have my own religious views, but "the voice".....aahhh. Anyway, mail me direct if you're interested, and "first come, first served".
