So I can hardly believe that Russia will ever support Iran against Israel. The only reason why Russian leaders may not like Israel and support Iran may be that Israel is the friend of USA and Iran is the enemy. Russia like France still considers itself as a superpower competing with USA which is of course is far from reality because real super powers are USA, China and India, and even Israel. FYI Israel is in third place in world in absolute number of patents (after USA and Japan) has third highest percentage of higher educated population (after USA and Netherlands). Concentration of high-tech companies is second after California. Israel is basically Silicon Valley #2. And the reason is arrival of immigrants from USSR 40% of whom had academic degrees.

Regarding elections – America’s strength is in people freely choosing their fate. If you make wrong choice there is nobody to blame but yourself. If Americans became less self reliant and prefer socialism to free society then they deserve decline in standards of living that will follow. If Americans decide to elect democrats for both  presidency and Congress - it will be total disaster. If they do it – there will be real economic depression and fall of dollar. And of course country will be inundated with illegal immigrants from all over the world who will try to get advantage of welfare state. Note that in Europe unlike America illegal immigrants get deported and do not get welfare. They even afraid going to doctor to reveal themselves. That’s why Europe still did not collapse, but it is in process of collapse of social welfare state – milder form of what happened in USSR. I have a friend who just came back from Germany (to Russia) because according to him life Germany becomes prohibitively expensive and at the same time they cut his salary. In Russia there is a flat 17% tax for everyone and every business.

I don't think you understand that electing Democrats is hardly a bad thing in and of itself.  Many Democrats are Democrats, not because they are ultra-liberal like Clinton, but because they despise Republicans, LOL (it's a cultural thing).  The ultra-liberals like Clinton are actually in the minority, even within the Democratic Party.  There are even many former Democrats in the Libertarian Party (the third-largest political party) and Libertarians believe in 100% personal responsibility, with only minimal government - and nothing not specifically permitted by the Constitution - so it's the furthest thing imaginable from the Democratic Party. 

Likewise, many Republicans actually hold liberal views on some issues.  Again, it's a cultural thing.  My SO is a Republican simply because his father was a powerful Republican Congressman so he grew up in that culture, and not because he is ultra-conservative.  He'd probably be a Republican just because his father was a Republican, even if his father were not involved in politics.  It has really come to a point where the two major parties are more alike than they are different.

Like anything else, you have to do your homework and vote based upon the person and their record, and not the political party.  :-)

They both suck there are not many good ones in either party. The republicans remind me of TVevanglists; wearing rugs on there head and $4000 suits. and the Demos are worse yet, the party has been taking over by George Sorros (do to Mccaine Finegold only the 527s can donate big money other groups like the NRA and Pro Life groups have been shut down in a lot of ways free speech is done, the demos the party of the working man have most of the billionaires behind them, wonder why?) and the Chinese Government. china has pumped millions into Democratic party. Look it up Charlie tree, lippo Group, Wang and china town donations (and when the press goes looking for the donors they nowhere to be found). The Lippo group is over 50% owned by China they put millions into the DNC in the 90's while we close down are biggest coal area in UT and starting buying coal from Lippo (can anyone say Prid Pro Que; yea I know it can never be proven) We are screwed and there is no hope. The only things I like about the repubs is strict constructionists judges, and lower taxes. Truth is it would be better to lose the next few elections, because we are going down and its going to be UGLY.

Just watch and see, Russia is arming all the Muslims country's surrounding Israel, in fact Israel just took out a nuke facility in Syria, and the Russians are freaked out because the Israeli plans were invisible to Russia detection., Iran is a bit freaked out to, figuring there next. All I am saying is watch,

American will stop supporting Israel some time soon, are at least not try and stop them from being disarmed.  It may happen after Israel retailing ting with a nuke taking out Damascus.

Someone mentioned Ron Paul and he is good on some issues (part of me is libertarian and part is populists yea I know aren't we all waling contradictions), but I don't think we can just pull out of Iraq, it will have to be done carefully to avoid a bloodbath there, yes a bloodbath worse they the war itself. If he runs as a third party it will just make it easy for Hillary to win. The Republicans are imploding, the evangelicals are prepared to bolt, remember they voted democrat in a big way up till 1980 and then switched for Reagan. My Family was about 95% democrat up to Carter; it was passed down in the family, since 1980 the family change mostly to republican and independent.

On the media; I like Glenn beck on CNN Headline News and Lou Dobbs on CNN. At least they have couple semi conservatives there.

Again I think we are screwed and why? because we went off the GOLD standard in the early 70's, they created inflation under which we live now, the Govt does not count gas or food in inflation so just imagine how high inflation really is. The average person is making 30 K and it is not enough, that 30 k would be like $1500 in 1970.

Rick, I also watch Glen Beck on CNN once in a while and listen him on radio while commuting. He is entertaining and seems having common sense. Common sense - that’s what we thought  makes America different from other countries back in USSR. In Europe or Russia politics defeats common sense and in America people make decision on what works best for them in terms of better life, happiness and freedom.

But since I came to USA I am having serious doubts that Americans are so different after all. Of course there is still more freedom in USA than say in Europe let alone developing countries. But all I see on TV is political hysteria day after day. TV is a liberal indoctrination machine and people get brainwashed almost non-stop 24 hours a day. My theory is that arrival of TV was fatal for promoting American idea. People do not leave in real world anymore - their views are formed by professional brainwashers and they are distracted by invented agendas, exaggerated news and shows everyday without break.

I read recently a book written by prominent columnist (title was “America Alone” or something like that). It is kind of entertaining book – about Islamization of Western Europe written with some kind of black humor. It was about Europe becoming a nanny state and people deciding that state must take care of all their needs and they do not have responsibilities (and kids) anymore and blah-blah. It was interesting how he starts to prove one point (let’s call it liberal) with all the numbers and facts and it sounds very convincing and you wholeheartedly agree with almost all he said. And then suddenly he changes direction 180 degree and presents the opposite point of view (say conservative) again with real facts and numbers, but different facts and numbers, and you start wondering how could you believe him so easily first time.

So what I want to say is professional propagandist can easily manipulate people’s minds one way or another with all facts and statistics and examples. It is much easier than you can imagine. In worked pretty well in Germany in Russia (before my eyes) and you cannot say that Russian or Germans are stupid. Of course it cannot last forever, but it will last long enough for people to freely elect someone like Hitler or – Hilary.

Well that is a great description and all we have to do is look to Canada where many of there pregnant women are coming to the USA to give birth (also many come for surgery's because they get put on long waiting lists up there) because they don't have the rooms there, socialism always leads to scarcity. Canadians ay lees for medicine but they  pay what $15 for a pack of cigarettes. But the liberal (liberals are for freedom what we call liberals now are not liberal at all but collectivists) or better yet Marxist and leftists hear in the USA have won the day. The republican or (old time democrats who believed in freedom) are incapable of speaking (and corrupt big spenders just looking out for themselves); the left has won the propaganda war, they control education hear, they control most of the media, and they control entertainment. They will sweep to victory in 08 (we will have Leftist Rudy G. running against far left Hillary C.). We will be paying much higher taxes (while the rest of the western world is lowering taxes-some country's are going to a low flat tax) and we move to socialism including socialized medicine for the masses, but special medicine for the elite. Right now we are taking in record revenue (because of the tax cuts which always work Wilson, JKF Reagan and Bush), but congress (and Mr one veto Bush) is (are) outspending the revenue, like usual (we are trillions in debt). When the capitol gains tax cuts phase out the stock market is doomed. When the democrats stick it to Big OIL the price of gas will go to $7 a gallon, real estate will continue to fall in value for at least two more years. (what happened to the anti communists democrats like scoop Jackson and JFK? oh yea they killed JFK and whit that the democrat party ended as we know it) Our money, which is not backed by anything (well its kind of backed by oil) will continue to be devalued. Bad times are coming, the answer will be socialism. We will be weakened and a prime target of terrorism, I can see us dividing up into regions after the perfect day (attack on 8 schools in rural American like the beslin attack) and big day (7 dirty bombs hit 7 big city's, BOS, NY, Wash DC, LA, VEGAS, Phoenix, SF) Muslims attacks they have been plotting for years. The USA will not be a super power in 10 years, and if you think I am wrong ask Bill Clinton who includes in many of his speeches that "we better treat other nations well, because when we are not a superpower we will have to relied on the largess of other nations." what does he know he is not telling. Dam I am pessimistic, that's how I see it,

PS Oktay remember I told you Russia would attack Israel and you said why? (nukes and oil) can you see it now? They (Russia)  have a war pact with Iran and are arming Iran, Syria,etc., the Muslim  nations;  Putin basically is restarting the cold war.

Humor me; We the USA and the UN (our coalition partners) force Iran to give up there nukes (maybe peacefully maybe by military strikes). Russia uses that as a impetuous to disarm Israel of there nukes (300 plus nutron bombs-googal samson option). They go though the UN and put together a coalition to disarm Israel. Russia, Turkey, Syria, Iran, Libya, and a few others surround Israel which leads to WW 3. I would recommend the book Epicenter my Joel C. Roenburg. Do you really think Giuliani will get the Republican nomination?  If they do that, they may as well hand the election to the Democrats on a silver platter since he does not have a lot of support even within the Republican Party.  I'm not a Ron Paul supporter (I'm not sure who I support yet), but they are far better off nominating him since his support crosses party lines.  Then again, they probably think they won't be able to control him, so that's pretty good reason to nominate someone else.

I just hope Ron Paul doesn't decide to run either with a third party or as an Independent, if he doesn't get the Republican nomination.  While I am extremely supportive of third parties, a popular third party candidate threw a serious monkey wrench into the 2000 election, and allowed a warmonger to get into the White House.  Despite Dr. Paul's grassroots support, there is no way he can win if he's not affiliated with a major party.  Hopefully he understands this, but I'm not sure he does.  He was, after all, the Libertarian presidential candidate at one point, and is a Life Member of the Libertarian Party.  He would get the Libertarian nomination with no effort at all, but I'm not sure that's in anyone's best interests (including the Libertarians).

Either way, I suspect that Bush has created a situation which will insure that the Republicans can't win, no matter who they nominate. On the bright side, I never voted for him, so my conscience is clear.

I think your right about that, Bush;  let the war go bad for over 3-4 years, before he finally got rid of Rumsfield and changed the general on the ground; that general Sanchez was  (Rummy too) a disaster (s). Rummy had a good plan in Afghanistan (except for the Northern Alliance taking brides to let UBL get away into Pakistan) but would not change his plan in Iraq, he keep trying to do, what was not working (John McCaine was telling anyone who would listen what they were ding wrong). Now the serge is working (plus the Shiites are finally pissed off at Al Quada and siding with us-which is a HUGE step in the right direction) BUT are Military is taxed to the breaking point, We have much to small a military, to be the worlds superpower. I can see, there may be a time, we pull back and let Europe take over as superpower. Taken together, Europe has as much military as we do. I am of the Colon Powell School of thought that we broke Iraq (if it wasn't broke having a Dictator in there brutalizing his own people) we have to fix it. What is fixing it, having it calmed down enough for the Iraqis to take back over so we can get out. Is it worth it? I don't know over 3000 troops dead, thousands wounded and maimed, and a trillion and a half spent. The reason I say I don't know is, is any war worth it? taking at today's costs WW 2 was trillions and we lost hundreds of thousands of men.  They are those on the left and right saying WW 2 was unnecessary. So is it worth it History will be the Judge.

And Yes I do think Rudy G will get the nomination,and think about that Rudy is really a fiscally conservative Democrat in his beliefs. Why wouldn't democrats vote for him? His problem is many conservatives will stay home.

On the election I would say they demos will win by a landside (unless people realize the economy is actually good, 70% of the American people believe we are in an recession despite the facts-Oil prices can be an economic killer though and actually I am susprised they have not slow the ecomoney much yet). No conservative has a chance to win the republican side (people think Bush is conservative, which he is not, he has tainted the word-many people believe he is a fake Christian as well-claiming to be one to get the evangelical vote-because of his skull and bones connections- many believe he is a Satanists- and part of a big 400 year old plot to take over the world for anti christ you know masons etc.,), or the general election, except for border control and immigration the USA has moved way to the left. Rudy G. Is a superstar, because of his actions, on and after 9-11. Before that he was hated, by the locals, he was this "evil Nazi" Mayor, who was so law and order (or anti constitution) he cleaned the prostitutes and vagrants off the streets of NY, he removed the sex shops, he made the city a safer place to live and the liberals who love to live there hated him for it. And Rudy is a fiscal conservative tax cutter. Romney does not have a chance the evangelicals will not vote for a Mormon. The republicans are like the democrats in the 1980's and most of the demos are simply Marxist (talking about those in power not the average repos and demos)and the Clinton are prime Bolsheviks, look at how they don't just beat people, they destroy them, They send out thugs to threatened family members of there opponents, then send out PI's to dig up dirt, they used the FBI to destroy those 6 people who worked in the travel office (it cost them all there life savings, and more, to be vindicated in court). Go Obomba or Edwards; at least they don't send goons out to harass thier opponents. neither has ever sent his lackeys in to the national archives to TAKE papers that would shown the incompetence of both the Bush's and Clinton's. You are right about 3 ed party's Clinton 02 (parrot), Clinton 06 (Parrot), and Bush 00 (Nator and Bucannon) all won because of third party's. Its funny Ron Paul's biggest money donor is Goggle, and they are left wing. His basic supporters are people who believe our government plans and carried out 9-11 (there gonna be surprised with the Islamic's kill children in our schools like they did in Russia-I guess they will blame Bush for that to). What is weird is Paul, is like an old time republican from before WW 2 republicans were always the isolation party. bill Clinton won with way less then 50% of the vote, both times, Hill will probably win the same way. George Sorros can always pay someone off to run, 10-20 million a droop in the bucket for him, deposited into a band in Nassau or panama where they have banking secrecy. Hell George give my 5 mil and I will run a as third party. Who would of though one man could be so rich, he could buy the USA?

I have been updating that UFO post, trying to fix all my typos and spelling errors takes hours  LOL I really wish I would write And I have added more info; (I highly recommend the book Alien encounters by Chuck Missler and Mark Eastman) I pull my hair out because of my typing and spelling skills.

and Oktay I head about that book America alone, and its that way when we defend ourselves, if we just let the terrorists hit us and no not respond the world would love us. If we let Iraq have nukes, if we let Pakistanis nukes fall into talliban hands then the world will love us for a short time until their country is blown off the map, these Muslims have an eschatological view that IF THEY BRING ABOUT A CATISCLAMATIC WAR (with billions of deaths) their 12th imam (AC) will return with Jesus (their Jesus not the one in the Gospels-FP) and kill all the rest if the infidels and or force everyone to be Muslim.But half of the USA or more will  not hear it, they would rather out their heads in the sand, until its to late.

Hiya, Rick, thanks for adding me to your Myspace friends list.

Unfortunately, I have not yet had the opportunity to read your UFO entry, so feel free to edit away.  My son has been in the hospital, he was attacked by his psycho girlfriend and almost killed, he is hemorrhaging into his brain.  He is doing better, but it will be a long time before we know the full extent of the damage. 

Some of you have met my son, I know Bill did in Lima a few years back.  Here are some photos after the blood was cleaned up (he was covered from head to toe, and there was even blood splatter on the walls where she did this), to give you an idea what this psycho did to him.





For those of you who are so inclined, please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you so very much, Rick.  He and I both appreciate it greatly. 

He is struggling with an intractable headache, as well as memory loss; for example, he will get a complete block when he tries to recall names of people he knows.  The doctor said that may get better, or it may get worse, only time will tell.  Additionally, he is having trouble verbalizing his thoughts, and his words somehow appear to be stuttering, which is a speech problem he has never had.  He is just not himself, it's as if it has changed his personality.  The doctor said the personality change is due to damage to his temporal lobe.

A very big concern is that he will develop seizures, since he had seizures as a child; I am told that he has a 50% chance of that disability, and also has a greatly increased lifetime risk of brain aneurysm due to the damaged blood vessels in his brain, even if he recovers completely otherwise.  He is still at very high risk of stroke and brain swelling, so he must be monitored carefully.

I am hoping beyond hope that these symptoms will go away and that the worst-case scenarios never materialize, but sadly it appears that they are common longterm effects of this particular type of traumatic brain injury.  He is only 20 years old, talented and extremely intelligent, with a very bright future ahead of him.  He is also my only child, and since his father died, he is my only real family.  Needless to say, I am absolutely heartbroken beyond words, and absolutely enraged at the psycho girl who did this to him.

I have just told him that you are praying for him, and he said for me to tell you thanks, that you are a very good friend and he would like to meet you someday.  He likes the Roadkillers, and thinks the world of Bill in particular.  And yes, he is a big GFR fan.
